Rocking Chair Reupholstering

A few shots of the rocking chair my mother and I reupholstered over Christmas.  The lovely fabric is Chevron in yellow orange by C'est La Viv, purchased on Spoonflower

Below is a collage of the before and in process photos.  As you can see, this chair seriously needed some love.  Not only was the fabric completely faded (the pattern used to be blue!), it was insanely dirty - I had to tie a scarf over my face while taking off the fabric because so much dust and dirt was coming out of the chair.  Thankfully the frame was in decent condition and didn't need any repairs.  We just sanded off the paint and left it unfinished.  I like the contrast between the natural, unfinished wood and the brightly colored chevron fabric.

    1. Thank you for designing such a lovely fabric - everyone asks if it's hand-painted. I'd be honored if you re-posted it!
