Things I like about this home (featured in Living, Etc. January 2011):
-The fireplace as room divider - accessible from two sides
-Use of many different materials: wood (redwood), tile, stone, concrete, slate
-Study shelves
-Blur between inside/outside in the bedroom
-Large-scale marble tiles in bathroom
-Open floor plan
