Good Idea: Wood/Tile Floor

Who says that your tiled floors and wood floors have to meet up in a straight line?  I love the way the designer, Paola Navone, chose to allow the shape of the tile to dictate the line where the two flooring materials meet.

Fish Scales!

Jarrod Lim - Koi Lounge Chair; Property

I've been seeing fish scale patterns popping up everywhere lately, and I'm loving it.  That chair above is amazing.  Here's another fun shot.  Check out those shadows!  More fish scale items below...

Kismet Tile

From their website:

is Moroccan-made cement tile crafted according to traditional materials and methods but with bold, modern motifs which highlight the beauty, materiality, and geometric harmonies of these classic tiles.

I love the faded look of these cement tiles, especially the grey-scale ones.
