Dreamy, and very much preferable to an actual aquarium.
I love the slightly irregular rainbow stripes painted on this wall.  Depending on the color palette, it could be used in almost any room.

Ru chair by Hay.
Shmancy trash cans, designed in 1939 and still in production.  Vipp bins.

Purty glass bottle pendant lights in a kitchen featured in Living Etc, May 2011.

Blythe coffee table, Habitat.

Functional coffee table, BoConcept.
L coffee table, Unto This Last.

Warm modern beach house

Genius, the way the way the shadows falling on the deck mimic the pattern of the light shining through the canopy above. I suppose I wouldn't mind living in a place like this one day :)

Featured in House Beautiful, April 2011.

Salt and pepper shakers, Waylande Gregory Studios.
Beautiful bubble vases from Asprey.

Ceramic vase by Rose Tarlow for the LA County Museum of Art gift shop.
Beautiful hexagonal hurricane lamps with alternating mirror and glass panes.  By Albert Hadley.  Available through Liz O'Brien.

Beautiful Silk carpets from Carini Lang.

I loved this entry way and staircase featured in AD April 2011.  This color combination always strikes me.  It reminded me of the floor tiles in the guest bathroom at Hemingway's house in Key West:

I love that terrarium!  It's very inspiring!  I wish I could live at the Hemingway House part time:
